Community Engagement

We strive to foster connections among residents of Britannia Woods and neighbouring communities in Ottawa’s west end. Our community engagement programs include identifying community needs, forging partnerships, facilitating information sharing, providing training, and offering advocacy support. We also curate vibrant and engaging social events beyond our neighbourhood.
WCH is a vibrant community that gathers every week. It is a welcoming and inclusive space for parents to socialize, support one another, learn, be heard, share experiences and culture, and foster a sense of belonging and friendship. Newcomers and existing residents are welcome to this sisterhood, where parents participate in collective support and wisdom from community members. Through shared experiences and community, resilience is built, and personal goals are achieved. WCH is also a gateway to accessing support and integrating into Canadian culture.
